George began his real estate career with Grubb & Ellis in 1970. In 1980, he co-founded Iliff Thorn, and led the company through tremendous growth: 12 offices and 230 sales people. In 1994, George sold Iliff Thorn to Colliers Macauley Nicolls, and became its US President. In 2001, George acquired Colliers International in Idaho and in 2019 he opened up ownership to Colliers Idaho employees and brokerage.
