George is the principal broker of Compass’ in-town Gulch office, and a sales manager for the Tennessee region. He’s served on the board of directors of Greater Nashville REALTORS and Tennessee REALTORS. He’s the chair of the local association’s Legislative Committee, and serves on the state’s Legislative Committee. He is a graduate of the prestigious LEADERSHIP GNAR and the Transit Citizen Leadership Academy. George has been recognized by the real estate industry as a top producer. His transactions range from multi-million dollar condos in downtown Nashville to homes in Belle Meade, Green Hills, Forest Hills, East Nashville, Brentwood, Franklin, and Spring Hill.
He is on the board of Nashville Cares. His charitable endeavors include work with Habitat for Humanity, Safe Haven Family Shelter, and the Monroe Carell Children’s Hospital.
Prior to his real estate career, George was a solo recording artist in the music industry. He had a record deal on Michael W. Smith's "Rocketown Records;" a song-writing/publishing deal with BMG, Sony, and Universal; and was represented by the William Morris Agency. Multi-Grammy award producer David Foster has even recorded/produced some of George’s music.
George holds a J.D. from Pepperdine School of Law, with experience in real estate law; tax and estate planning; land use, zoning, and development; and municipal law.
