Mr. Wilds brings 27 years of commercial real estate development and general management experience to Coldwell Banker Commercial Seaboard Properties. From Hartsville, he descends from a long line of South Carolinians with deep ties to the Pee Dee region. After receiving his architectural degree from Clemson University, he attended Harvard Business School where he earned a M.B.A., concentrating in marketing, finance, and real estate. Following business school, Mr. Wilds spent several years in Charlotte, NC as a Project Manager and Brokerage Manager for Spaulding & Slye Corporation of Burlington, MA. He then joined The Landmarks Group in Atlanta. As a Vice President, he was responsible for development of the large, highly successful mixed-use Concourse project in North Atlanta. Next, he was recruited by the Walt Disney Company as the real estate leader of a team of international experts assigned to explore a new entertainment concept. Moving from Orlando to Los Angeles as a Vice President, he led the team for two years. Mr. Wilds then joined Prentiss Properties, Ltd. of Dallas as Western Region Vice President, responsible for management of that portion of the firm?s $2.5 billion asset portfolio based in the west, roughly 1.2 million square feet, and for pursuit of new development in California and Arizona. In early 1993, Mr. Wilds became a founding partner of Coldwell Banker Commercial Seaboard Properties. The company has successfully pursued brokerage, user representation, consulting and management opportunities in the Southeast, primarily eastern South Carolina. It is the preeminent commercial real estate company in a six-county area of the state. He is past-Chairman of Florence County Progress and a member of the Florence County Economic Development Partnership board (both economic development organizations). He is past-President of the Florence Rotary Club, a member of Wachovia Bank?s regional board, Treasurer for the Boys and Girls Club of the Pee Dee, past-president and current treasurer of the Florence Family YMCA.He has served on Coker Farms National Historic Landmark Foundation board, the Hartsville Museum Commission, the Coker College Board of Visitors, and is on the Florence Little Theater board. Mr. Wilds had principal responsibility either for development, Marketing/leasing, financing, or property management for over 35 projects representing over 8.5 million square feet in Charlotte, Atlanta, Los Angeles & San Francisco.
