Gerard Staudt is Senior Managing Director and Head of Dispositions, North America. Gerard’s team is one hundred percent focused on delivering on-time cash flow for the disposition of challenging surplus real estate, primarily through unique and proven subleasing and sales processes. Over 30 years, he has led 4,000 transactions totaling more than 50 million square feet and $8 billion in surplus real estate – through leasing and sales processes – for United Technologies, York, Chemtura, Motorola, Verizon, Dell, Johnson Controls, IMS, Nippon Life Insurance and Citibank, to name a few.
Gerard is a seasoned corporate real estate leader with deep experience identifying and solving challenging problems for all stakeholders. He is laser-focused on driving on-time cash-flow for Fortune 500 companies through managing transactions, facilities, projects and outsourcing, all aligned with stakeholders’ goals.
Gerard has a proven track record of delivering on aggressive financial targets for surplus real estate, and building trust relationships through laser focus, persistence, and transparent communications.
Gerard joined Savills in 2019 after serving as president of CoreDispo (Corporate Real Estate Dispositions Inc.), an independent company focused on delivering on-time surplus real estate disposition transactions through leases, sales and sale-leasebacks. Before starting CoreDispo, he founded and led global dispositions at Johnson Controls’ GWS/CBRE for 16 years. Prior to that, he was vice president of corporate real estate at Citibank and assistant vice president at Nippon Life Insurance Properties, responsible for repositioning, leasing and selling real estate with value exceeding $6 billion. Gerard’s career began as a Manhattan leasing broker at Cross & Brown and director of leasing at First Winthrop Properties for 19 major Manhattan office and retail towers.
