Bio
Gianna recently completed her undergraduate studies at Davidson College in May and is currently pursuing a Master's in Public Administration at Clemson University. Her academic background is rooted in a self-designed major titled Social Entrepreneurship, which draws from multiple fields including economics, environmental science, and psychology. This interdisciplinary curriculum has allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of business concepts such as economics, microeconomics, industrial/organizational psychology, urban economics, and quantitative research methods. Her continued studies in environmental studies, including courses such as Environmental Studies, Environmental Humanities, and Activism & The Environment, have strengthened my knowledge and expertise in this field, which she intends to leverage in her future endeavors pertaining to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices.
Gianna's undergraduate experience at Davidson College, a renowned liberal arts institution, has not only helped me advance my writing skills but has also provided ample opportunities to explore her creative side. Additionally, she has demonstrated her leadership abilities as the captain of the Division 1 lacrosse team, a commitment she intends to uphold while pursuing her graduate degree at Clemson University. Being a member of an inaugural Division 1 team that competes in a top conference is a significant achievement that requires dedication, hard work, and perseverance. It provides a unique opportunity to be a part of history and make a lasting impact, both personally and professionally. Moreover, she has actively participated in various extracurricular activities, including serving on the silent auction committee of Connor Eating House's Bosom Buddies event, being part of Women in Business, and holding membership in CatStats, a math-based club that offers advanced analytics advice to various sports teams.
