Gordon is a Charleston native who has been working in the land entitlement and land development business for the past 25 years. His background in Landscape Architecture and experience working for the Planning Department of Mount Pleasant, laid a foundation for understanding the complexities of the regulatory procedures associated with all types of development. During his 9 year tenure at the Charleston Division of Centex Homes, he became the Director of Land and used his skills to oversee and manage the land acquisition, entitlement and development portion of the home building business for projects in multiple jurisdictions. Following that, he worked for a local brokerage firm for several years and focused primarily on the land and redevelopment opportunities in the Charleston market.
Gordon is currently the Chairman of the City of Charleston Planning Commission.
