Graham ‘Chip’ Conklin became a member of Savills after the 2004 merger with Strategic Alliance Partners LLC, which together formed Savills New Jersey office in Rutherford. As a trusted commercial real estate broker, Chip focuses on strategic planning, relentless negotiation, and market research and analysis. With his combined abilities, Chip is able to provide a focused approach for each company, providing ideal real estate options that align with business development goals and needs.
In 1993, Chip created Strategic Alliance Partners LLC’s office division, founded on a tenant-focused platform. Since then, he’s counseled and advised Fortune 500 companies, as well as small local businesses, in industries ranging from healthcare to financial services.
Originally, Chip began his real estate career with a commercial mortgage and investment firm, involved in the placement of debt with institutional lenders/commercial banks and analyzed investment opportunities. Whilst involved in this industry, he directly secured financing for 15 New Jersey development projects with 10 different major developers.
Awards, Achievements and Activities
As a broker, Chip has been recognized as a top producer at Strategic Alliance Partners and Savills. He has also been awarded by Hartz Mountain Industries, Advance Properties, and Mack-Cali, as well as received CoStar’s ‘Power Broker’ award.
As an active member of the community, Chip coaches travel baseball and even orchestrated the design, fundraising, and construction of a college-style field for the town’s baseball program. He also spent 6 years playing for the Seattle Mariners and Oakland Athletics organizations, winning 4 minor league championships and playing in 3 All-Star games. Chip is also a member of The Promise Foundation, a nonprofit association that educates people about melanoma.
