Greg Brown has been with Major Properties since February 1986.
He currently assumes the position of Senior Vice President and sits on the Board of Directors. During his tenure at Major Properties, he has successfully completed hundreds of commercial, industrial and investment real property transactions. Over the past 10 years, his primary emphasis has been in the analysis and acquisition of redevelopment properties, as well as the disposition of institutionally owned properties.
Mr. Brown graduated from UCLA in 1985 with Bachelor Degrees in Economics and Psychology. He has had affiliations with the Association of Industrial Realtors, the Los Angeles Board of Realtors Professional Standards Committee, Town Hall, World Affairs Council and the Los Angeles Athletic Club. During his term with Major Properties, Mr. Brown has attained numerous top salesperson achievements, headed salesperson training programs and implemented revisions to the company''s marketing plan. Additionally, he originated and coordinated the integration of a strategic alliance with Portfolio West, Ltd. into the Major Properties marketing plan. This integration facilitated the disposition of high-value assets and real estate portfolios with state-of-the-art, fast-track marketing.
Mr. Brown has built his career through a high degree of service and results. He is proud to list as clients Manufacturers Bank, General Bank, Ocwen Federal Bank, Chrysler First Credit Corporation, Union Bank of California, Topa Savings Bank, Frontier Bank, Capital Vision Equities, Grant Housing, Economic Development Corporation and numerous other companies.
Noteworthy projects include the one million square foot land acquisition for the Chesterfield Square Redevelopment at Slauson and Western; the twenty-three acre acquisition for the Marlton Square Redevelopment at Santa Barbara Plaza (Crenshaw and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard); acquisition of three city blocks for development of affordable housing in South-Central Los Angeles by West Angeles Church and Amistad Development; the three-phase relocation of Pyramid Sound to their new national distribution facility in the City of Commerce; the disposition of a retail/wholesale portfolio located on two city blocks in Downtown Los Angeles; the purchase of the fourteen floor Park Center Jewelry Building in Downtown Los Angeles; and numerous other transactions involving real property in and about Los Angeles.
