As the supervisor of all WYSE operations, Greg Close serves as President at WYSE, succeeding William Wyse in 2002.
Close has been at the Portland property management company since 1988 and is a specialist in handling complex real estate and finance transactions. He is also a trusted commercial real estate advisor to a number of private investment entities, corporations and Erisa Pension Trusts.
Close received his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University and completed a postgraduate program specializing in real estate law at the University of San Diego. He has completed subsequent courses in appraisal, finance, accounting, real estate investment, taxation and real estate market analysis. He is also licensed as a principal real estate broker in Oregon.
Close is a key proponent of quality mental health services in Portland, and for more than two decades, has served as the director of various non-profit provider organizations in Multnomah County. He currently sits on the board of the Cascadia Housing, Inc., which is active in managing and developing special needs facilities throughout the greater Portland metro area.
