Bio
With over 25+ years of commercial real estate background, Mr. Knoop has built his career primarily on the ownership side, representing institutional, third party, and entrepreneurial owners for leasing and sale assignments. Mr. Knoop has a proven record of accomplishment in value creation and maximization for the owners he has represented.
Previously, Mr. Knoop was an Assistant Vice President at the New York Life Insurance Company. He was responsible for the leasing, asset management, rehabilitation and value maximization of a five million square foot portfolio of office, retail and residential/mixed-use properties. His more notable Manhattan assignments included 1180 Avenue of the Americas, 44 Wall Street and 63 Madison Avenue. Mr. Knoop was also responsible for overseeing the renovation and repositioning of the Bethesda Air Rights Complex in Maryland, which sold for a then record-setting price of $130 per square foot in 1997.
