Ashley joined Newmark in 2021 as an analyst for the Newmark Net Lease Capital Markets team. Prior to joining Newmark, Ashley worked for Ernst & Young, a big-four accounting firm, where he audited the largest publicly traded companies in Tulsa. Ashley has helped in the teams $6.0B of historical single tenant sales, including assets in all 50 states. Since its inception in 2017, Newmark Net Lease Capital Markets has grown to become one of the Net Lease industry’s largest teams by transactional volume and properties sold throughout the United States. Ashley’s clients include merchant developers, public/private REITS, private equity groups, high net worth individuals, and tax-deferred §1031 exchange buyers.
Ashley holds a masters degree in business administration (MBA) and a bachelor’s degree in professional accountancy from Oklahoma Baptist University. During his time at OBU, Ashley played both Football and Track & Field where he earned the designation of NCAA All-American in the Decathlon. Ashley completed the accounting curriculum at OBU with a 4.0 GPA and is currently a CPA candidate. With this, Ashley offers his clients a strong understanding of real estate principals along with a unique analytical understanding of business and financial statements.
