Franks is a principal and co-founder of Consolidated Realty Group, which since its inception in 1987 has become one of Utah's largest commercial brokerage firms with annual sales in excess of $100 million. Previously, he was responsible for the formation of the land division in Grubb & Ellis' Salt Lake City office, and has been personally involved in a partnership engaged in the acquisition, sales, and management of investment properties since 1975.
Franks' distinctive accomplishments in the industry have earned the recognition of his peers in the brokerage community. A longtime member of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club, Franks was awarded the board's prestigious Commercial Salesperson of the Year designation in 1986. He was named Salesperson of the Year twice during his tenure with Grubb & Ellis and has been consistently ranked among CRG's Top Five Producers.
