Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of BLOC Global Group. BLOC has interests in commercial real estate development and investment, construction, and professional services.
Prior to becoming the Chief Executive Officer of BLOC, he was Vice President of New Market Ventures for private equity firm MRG, co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer of a web-based new media/technology company, spent a decade as an investment banker with Raymond James Financial and Porter White and Company. Herschell also worked as Chief Administrative Assistant to Birmingham Mayor Richard Arrington, Jr., serving as chief advisor on matters of finance, economic development, and capital projects; and as Executive Assistant to the Finance Director of the State of Alabama, coordinating and managing the issuance of approximately $1 billion in tax-exempt bonds by State Boards and Authorities.
