Howard Nottingham has worked in the commercial real estate industry for over 35 years, joining Savills in 2003. An accomplished veteran real estate advisor and executive managing director, Howard represents many of Savills most prestigious clients in Manhattan on some of the firm’s most complex transactions. His client roster speaks volumes to Howard’s expertise, client service and professionalism as a tenant representative - negotiating optimal deals for his clients and providing advantageous commercial real estate strategies and solutions.
Howard represented Time Warner in the 1.3 million square-foot transaction at Hudson Yards. In addition, he represented Nike in a new development by the Durst organization. He has also represented the New York Law School for over a decade, involving acquisitions, dispositions and developments to gain them a much larger home commensurate with its reputation as a premier institution and enabling the school to substantially increase its endowment and enhance its credentials overall.
Howard and his team also represented Time Inc. in a 600,000-square-foot lease at Brookfield Place. He represented Goodwin Procter at the much talked about New York Times Building and has represented other prestigious law firm such as McDermott Will & Emery, Wachtell Lipton, Gibbons, Manett, Phelps & Phillips and Arnold & Porter. He also represented iStar at the Verizon Building.
Howard is a strategist. He facilitates the real estate process from beginning to end, including helping his clients assemble a complete real estate team with the expertise for their particular projects. Previously Howard worked at Cushman & Wakefield where he closed leasing transactions with Chase Manhattan Bank, MetLife, Rainbow Media Holdings, a division of Cablevision Systems and Boston Consulting Group. He also worked with Jones Lang LaSalle as an executive vice president head of the northeast region and national leasing director.
