J. Bryan Cobb has been a REALTOR® with Harris and Associates, Inc. for over 26 years. Most of those years he was a bi-vocational REALTOR® because he also worked for Dupont-Teijin Films in Hopewell, VA. He "retired" from plant work in 2005 after 20 years and concentrated on his real estate career and family. He has been married to Joy Harris-Cobb, his beautiful wife and real estate partner, for 25 years. He has two wonderful adult children (Elizabeth studying physical therapy and Joseph studying culinary arts). Bryan says that his children have brought him way more proud moments than he brought his parents at their age. He has recently become more involved in his family business, which is heavily real estate related, because of his mentor and father’s decision to "slow down a little" after 60 years of hard labor.
Bryan is active in his church (Central Baptist in Church Road, VA) as a deacon, teacher, and behind the scenes “git er done” kind of guy. He has supported his community through being involved in county planning, volunteering in schools, and coaching sports. Currently his travels take him from Richmond to Tidewater as he works diligently to please his current clients, as well as always being on the look-out for new opportunities to bring together purchasers and sellers. Bryan feels blessed to have the support of his family, friends, and clients for all these years and he is always looking for a way to give back.
