There’s a special energy at FMV. It’s source: Jack Buck. A rare combination of instigator, professional powerhouse and positive change agent, Jack has taken his special brand of creative problem solving and built a firm where he can realize his goals: to pursue more interesting opportunities, develop inspired projects and turn fresh ideas into reality.
Prior to founding FMV, Jack served as Principal of The John Buck Company, a real estate company responsible for the development, redevelopment and/or acquisition of more than 41 million square feet of office, retail, hotel and residential projects.
Outside the office, Jack advocates for a 21st century educational system through One Chance Illinois, a charity he co-founded. He’s also a board member of the Big Shoulders Fund and is a past Trustee of the Village of Winnetka. Jack is a proud Golden Domer where he got his undergraduate degree in English. A few years later he earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
