Bio
Prior to joining to Heitman, Jake was employed at JLL as an Associate on the Capital Markets platform, based in Washington, DC.
He previously worked as a senior research analyst at JLL focusing on capital markets, federal government leasing, demographics and economic trends relating to commercial real estate in metro Washington, DC.
Education
Jake studied urban planning and real estate at the University of Michigan. While at Michigan, Mr. Anderson worked as a planning consultant to the Detroit Works Project, served as a graduate student instructor for an introductory urban planning course and held a summer internship at the West Vernor and Springwells Business Improvement District.
In addition to a master’s degree in urban planning and a graduate certificate in real estate development, Jake holds a bachelor of arts, magna cum laude, from Colgate University. Jake majored in geography, earning honors for his thesis on the role of access to transportation in housing preference.
