Jackie Mierkiewicz serves as an account director in the Global Occupier Services (GOS) group in the Morristown, New Jersey office of Cushman & Wakefield. She has more than 16 years of corporate real estate experience in both domestic and international markets, specializing in client relationship management, strategic portfolio planning, account management and transaction management. She is responsible for directing and executing real estate strategies for corporate clients including New York Life, Synchrony Financial and Zoetis. Ms. Mierkiewicz has also worked with several other corporate clients including Abbott Laboratories, Aramark, Cadbury Schweppes, Reed Elsevier, Readers Digest, Revlon, United Technologies, Willis Insurance and YP.
Ms. Mierkiewicz began her real estate career in the Corporate Real Estate Group of Lucent Technologies in September 2001. Her primary responsibilities were the preparation of financial business cases in connection with the acquisition, disposition, renewals and consolidations of diverse real estate transactions worldwide.
In June 2004, Jackie joined Cushman & Wakefield as the account manager for the Lucent Technologies account. In this capacity, she managed field brokers for domestic transactions. Additional responsibilities included lease document negotiation and review, lease abstracting, portfolio management, broker selection, account revenue reporting, and assistance with Lucent’s real estate business case preparation. In January 2006, she joined Cushman & Wakefield’s New York-based International Account team for which she managed such international clients as Abbott Laboratories, Cadbury Schweppes, Revlon, Willis Insurance and Readers Digest. In January 2011, Jackie was promoted to Account Director where she managed such clients as New York Life, Reed Elsevier, United Technologies (Otis) and YP.
Ms. Mierkiewicz has cultivated a specialization in transaction management. She is adept in lease negotiations and the development and implementation of account management procedures. Drawing from experience working on corporate accounts, Ms. Mierkiewicz continues to expand her geographic reach and is broadening and diversifying her skills in other Cushman & Wakefield disciplines including Lease Administration, Project Management and Facilities Management.
