Jaime Bertsche is a Vice President responsible for leasing space in Mid-America’s retail property portfolio. She has been with Mid-America Asset Management since June 2004, specializing solely in Landlord representation.
Mrs. Bertsche has extensive experience in an array of product types including mixed-use developments, specialty leasing of lifestyle centers, ground-up projects, power centers, traditional grocery anchored centers and urban retail properties. Clients include major Pension Funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts and Entrepreneurs. Through her work in each respective area, she has formed strong relationships with local, regional and national tenants.
Her responsibilities include developing appropriate merchandising plans for each shopping center and actively marketing and negotiating retail space to new and existing tenants. Additional responsibilities for each property include creating deal specific analysis, overall property impact analysis, and developing feasible execution plans.
Mrs. Bertsche is a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. She is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and participates in the ICSC Next Generation and Women in Retail Leasing (WIRL) Association.
