James has over 18 years’ experience in the retail and leisure sector working on a wide range of acquisitions and disposals across the high street, shopping centre leasing and out of town retail markets. He has provided advice at all stages of the leasing process providing a full range of services, incorporating development, letting, asset management and acquisition advice to clients. James joined Smith Young in March 2023 from CBRE where he was a Senior Director in charge of the Northern Retail and Leisure team based in Manchester and Leeds.
