James has over 35 years’ experience in all of phases of Real Estate Development & Construction. He is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce "Leadership Texarkana" program, and has held Real Estate Licenses in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas since 1979.
For the past 17 years James has been a managing partner in Max Alley and affiliated companies and is actively involved in all of the company’s real estate development projects. Max Alley Construction is licensed in multiple states and works as a Preferred Developer for several Fortune 500 companies. Primary areas of specialization include retail, medical, financial, restaurant and warehouse with a recent emphasis on the development, construction and ownership of child care, memory care and senior health care facilities.
