James Panzarella Jr. is an Associate with Newmark’s Retail Services at the firm’s New York headquarters, where he specializes in tenant and landlord representation on a local and national level.
Since joining the firm, Mr. Panzarella has assisted several prominent retailers in their expansion efforts across New York City and the Tri-State area including JD Sports, Alo Yoga, CityMD, Madison Reed and Watches of Switzerland. Most recently, James helped secure Madison Reed’s sixth and seventh NYC locations at 141 Duane Street and 2315 Broadway. He also plays an active role in the national rollout of JD Sports, with a target of 500 new store openings over the next 5 years.
On the Landlord side, Mr. Panzarella has represented distinguished owners such as Thor Equities, Related Companies, Atlas Capital Group, Global Holdings Management Group, Abington Properties, amongst several others. He recently represented Global Holdings at 1 West 60th Street to secure Lady M Cake Boutique’s long-term home at their new luxury residential development in Columbus Circle. James also negotiated on behalf of Atlas Capital at 2841 Broadway in their lease with Playa Bowls and Thor Equities at 680 Madison Avenue in UK-based jeweler Asprey’s relocation.
