Bio
Jamie Adams was born and raised in Lexington, KY and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture. After graduation, Adams worked for an international planning and landscape architecture firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL where he gained planning, design and construction experience on projects all over the world. He moved back to Lexington in 2010 to begin a career in commercial real estate with NAI Isaac Commercial Properties.
Adams is a sales/leasing associate specializing in retail, office and industrial properties in Central Kentucky and surrounding markets. He represents both Tenants and Property Owners ranging in size from international REITs to local businesses and owners. Adams leverages his lifelong experience and knowledge of Lexington and Central Kentucky to find creative solutions and add value for his clients.
Adams obtained his distinguished Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in October 2016 and became Lexington’s Chapter President for 2017. CCIM designees are recognized as leading experts in commercial investment real estate with more than 50 chapters around the world closing $200 billion annually in commercial real estate deals. For more than 40 years, the Institute has been building opportunities through its respected education program, led by established practitioners.
Adams has a background and passion for sustainable planning, design and construction. Designated as a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional by the U.S. Green Building Council, his goal is to promote sustainability and efficiency as an essential value adding factor relevant to all aspects of the real estate industry. Adams is one of the region’s few LEED AP certified commercial real estate professionals.
Adams is Lexington’s CCIM Chapter President, the KY State NextGen Chair for International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), an active member of the NAI Global Retail Specialty Council and the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) Kentucky Chapter.
