Janet has collected diverse experience throughout her prolific career. During her 15 years in the oil and gas industry, she focused on mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, mineral lands and contracts. Janet provided critical support through the Renaissance/Husky merger, after closing the disposition of Petro-Canada's Western Canadian conventional oil assets to those respective companies in the year prior. Janet's professional journey includes executive business development through building strong partnerships in the Human Resources sector. Over her 6 years in this role, Janet worked with some of the largest organizations in North America and served Calgary clients that were expanding into new global markets. With industry wide commitments to achieve net zero, Janet emersed herself in all facets of the energy transition by working with dynamic companies in renewables, sustainable fuels, carbon capture, LNG, hydrogen production and oil and gas technology
