Jay Allen began his real estate career in 1997 working alongside Carl Touhey performing feasibility studies, evaluations and has built one of the largest databases on self storage properties. Since 2004, Jay has brokered all types of real estate classes including residential, land and multi-family; with a specialization solely in the self storage asset class since 2006. Jay co-founded Performance Self Storage Group Inc. and is extremely well versed in all areas of self storage brokerage, investment, syndication, management and marketing. Jay offers self storage brokerage and consulting services to self storage owners and investors nationwide and has been a part of over $1 BILLION of successful self storage property transactions. In addition, he has also provided marketing and consulting services for multiple self storage operations and is a true self storage expert.
