Jay Theisen is a Texas Real Estate Broker experienced in the sales and leasing of Commercial Properties including office buildings and commercial land. He has participated in office building development and build-to-suit NNN property transactions to include site selection and financing.
Jay has been in the real estate business in Austin since 1981 except for a 3 year interim position as asset manager with the Resolution Trust Corporation in San Antonio beginning in 1990.
In the last 3 years Mr. Theisen has brokered the sale of 5 office buildings and another build-to-suit office project. He has also closed on 50+ commercial leases with both local firms and national tenants such as Geopac, Pan American Insurance,CH Robinson,Kelly Services and the University of Florida.
Jay is a member of the Commercial Leasing Brokers Association (CLBA) and a member of the Austin CCIM chapter.
He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame business school and holds an MBA in finance from the University of Missouri. He is a 2 year veteran of the United States Army and a instrument rated fixed wing pilot.
In his spare time Jay and his wife, Marina, enjoy travel and local volunteer work.
