Bio
Mr. Clary is a Founding Partner, member of the Investment Committee, and acts as GCP’s General Counsel, while being responsible for the execution of its transactions and general oversight of its investments and strategy. He worked within the financial services and/or commercial real estate fields for over fifteen years. In addition, Mr. Clary founded West Street Advisory, through which he provides legal services to GCP as well as certain other clients. Prior to founding GCP and West Street Advisory, Mr. Clary served as Vice President and General Counsel at Realterm Global. From 2005 to 2011, Mr. Clary worked a Direct Invest, L.L.C. where he served as Principal and General Counsel. Prior to joining Direct Invest, L.L.C., Mr. Clary served as a regulatory attorney and compliance associate at Morgan Stanley from 2002 to 2005. Mr. Clary was with the American Stock Exchange from 2001 to 2002 as an investigator in their investigations/examinations department. Mr. Clary received his B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware and his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law. Mr. Clary is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey and currently resides in a suburb of Baltimore, Maryland.
