Bio
Jeffrey Donnelly is Executive Director of Colliers International’s Structured Finance Group. As team lead, he oversees a roster of debt and equity placement specialists in national and international assignments. He also originates client relationships; negotiates exclusive agencies; directs comprehensive underwriting/analysis of real estate projects across all real estate asset classes; and executes offering memoranda for debt, mezzanine debt and private equity offerings.
Mr. Donnelly joined Colliers in 2015 after several years as Managing Director of DTZ’s New York Real Estate Investment Banking desk. He sourced and placed debt and equity for a wide variety of real estate transactions in that role, including acquisition finance, re-financings, workouts, and restructurings. Examples included a $21 million financing of a shopping mall in Pennsylvania; an $8 million renovation loan for a 206-key hotel in Hawaii, and a $12 million bridge loan for the acquisition and pre-development of a Manhattan condominium project. Prior to DTZ, Mr. Donnelly served as a principal at Spectrum Capital Partners, where he was instrumental in redeveloping and transforming a ground lease business into a comprehensive structured ground lease finance platform.
Earlier, Mr. Donnelly founded and acted as CEO of Pillar Asset Management Company, a private equity fund that invested in Russia and South Florida. He was also a Senior Vice President at Emmes Asset Management, where he led asset and property management for portfolios in New York, New Jersey and Baltimore. Before that, Mr. Donnelly founded and led real estate construction, leasing and management companies in Russia and headed the Moscow office of SUN Group of Companies, an international venture capital fund.
