Ms. Lewis attended the University of Southern California, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning and Development. Ms. Lewis received a master’s degree in Real Estate Development from New York University. Ms. Lewis is past president of both the Nevada Homebuilders Association and the Southern Nevada Homebuilders Association. Ms. Lewis was honored by the Southern Nevada Homebuilders Association as Builder of the Year in 2004. In 2007, Ms. Lewis was appointed to the Nevada Commission on Construction Education by Governor Gibbons. Ms. Lewis also serves on the boards for St. Jude’s Ranch for Children in Boulder City, Nevada and the UNLV Library Board.
