Mr. Frager has been the owner and operator of JERRY FRAGER COMPANY, REALTORS, since 1962. The Company has had extensive experience and success in housing developments, as well as, in commercial development of office buildings, and shopping centers, and in property management, investment brokerage, and counseling.
Prior to his entry into the real estate business, Jerry served in the United States Air Force, earning many decorations with service in Japan and Korea. Subsequently, he rose to the rank of Lt. Colonel in the Air Force Reserve, before retiring with 26 years of service. His military duties were primarily in the field of material supply management, and he functioned during the last 17 years of service as the area U. S. Air Force Academy Admissions counselor (AFA Liaison Officer).
Jerry participated, as Executive Vice President, in the founding and management of WHAM, Inc., an innovative on-site building system developer, and founded and managed, Imageering, a company, which held exclusive rights to optical disk technology and software for the Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland areas.
Jerry holds graduate degrees in Marketing, and Latin American Affairs, from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. He has been an instructor of Real Estate Principles at the University of Tennessee, Extension Division, and has held numerous responsible positions within community, religious, military and trade organizations. He is currently a member of the Memphis Board of Realtors, The Memphis Chamber of Commerce and the Memphis Area Better Business Bureau.
