Jessica Lipscomb is an award-winning, top producing Realtor® who brings her BA in Communication Studies & Public Relations from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington to her position as Owner of family-held real estate company, Houses & More Real Estate.
Celebrating her 10th year as a licensed real estate salesperson, Jessica earned her Graduate Realtor® Institute designation in 2014, her Accredited Buyers Representative designation in 2015, and her Military Relocation Professionals designation in 2019. She became C2EX endorsed in 2019.
LOCAL REALTOR® LEADERSHIP & AWARDS
Jessica was the 2015 Vice President of the North Central WV regional MLS and served as the 2016 President of the Morgantown Board of Realtors®. During this term, she wrote a popular weekly real estate column in the Dominion Post newspaper.
The Morgantown Board of Realtors® honored her with the “Rising Star” award in 2013, the “President’s Award” in 2015, and the “Realtor® of the Year” award in 2016.
STATE REALTOR® LEADERSHIP
A 2015 graduate of the West Virginia Association of Realtors® Leadership Academy, Jessica was appointed as the 2017 Secretary of the West Virginia Association of Realtors® and currently serves both as a State Director and as Chair of the state’s Education Committee. Jessica writes for the West Virginia Association of Realtors® magazine, which is published quarterly.
She was named a “WV Wonder Woman” by WV Living Magazine in 2016 and was named a “40 Under 40” by the State Journal in 2017.
NATIONAL REALTOR® LEADERSHIP
After serving as the West Virginia state representative on the National Association of Realtors® RPAC Participation Council in 2016, Jessica is now serving a three-year term on the National Association of Realtors® Commitment to Excellence committee.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Jessica was the 2015 President of the Preston County Chamber of Commerce, and now serves as the organization’s Vice President. She is a board member of the Mon and Preston County United Way and is past board member of the Kingwood City Planning Commission, Greater Morgantown CVB and the Preston Arts Council.
Jessica and her husband Mike are active members of their community. They are co-chairs of the Kingwood Pool Committee and are proud to have helped re-open Preston County’s only community pool in 2018. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing in the Cheat River, playing with their labradoodle Colt, cheering on the Mountaineers, and above all else, spending time with their beautiful and spunky daughter, Dylan Alexandra.
