Mr. Clark focuses primarily on the geographical areas between Oakland Airport and Hercules, with an emphasis on the sale and leasing of industrial R&D and Class B office space. In the last 16 years, Mr. Clark has been recognized as the Top Producer of the Emeryville (now Oakland) office seven times.
Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Clark was a senior associate with CB Commercial Real Estate. During his tenure there, he completed two built-to-suit transactions totaling 100,000 square feet. Additionally, he represented Ellis Partners in its purchase of a 200,000-square-foot building on 5.2 acres from Grove Value and Regulatory, one of the largest sales in Emeryville in 1998. Mr. Clark was retained by Ellis Partners as the leasing agent for the project, and he successfully fully leased the converted high-tech office project.
Mr. Clark began his real estate career in 1986 as an industrial/R&D salesman in Cushman & Wakefield’s Oakland office. In 1993, he received that firm’s Broker of the Year award for completing the largest transaction in the western region.
