Bio
Jim has been an integral member of the CWM In-Town Investment team since his arrival in 2012. His career in surveying began as an Investment Agent with GVA in the North-West, before moving to the ‘Big Smoke’ with Lawson & Partners where he extended his experience in the retail investment sector further.
Working on a nationwide basis, Jim has excellent experience across a large range of deal types, from prime London real estate to ‘value-add’ neighbourhood parades further afield. Other than the usual stream of ‘big fund’ clients, such as TIAA Real Estate and CBRE Global Investors, Jim has been particularly active in winning new business with industrious property companies such as Evolve Estates, London and Cambridge Properties, Angle Property and MHA London. Over the past two years, he has cultivated an excellent relationship with Evolve Estates, in particular, and has completed no less than 25 deals with the firm.
Away from the office, Jim is a keen rugby player, having played professionally for a number of years, and now combines playing semi-professionally with his new young family and busy work life. Jim is the captain of the RICS rugby team and loves a good holiday!
Jim is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and of the Investment Property Forum. Jim swapped to the world of Chartered Surveying from the ‘dark side’ of Town Planning and completed his studies with an MSc from Liverpool John Moores.
