Jim has been involved in the commercial and industrial real estate brokerage community since 1974 when he began his career with the Hart Corporation. In 1977, when Cushman & Wakefield acquired his industrial real estate brokerage company, Jim focused his efforts on the representation of corporations in Metropolitan Detroit and serving the needs of select developers and landlords in the Detroit area. Since that time, as Associate Director, he provided professional brokerage and consulting services in a wide variety of real estate transactions totalling over four million square feet of commercial and industrial space in Michigan, twelve states in North America and three countries in South America. Included are over eleven years of national transaction experience for Digital Equipment and Compaq Computer Corportation in which Jim and his team provided transaction management and execution, strategic planning, market evaluation, site acquisition/disposition and negotiation. Jim joined Insite Commercial Group this year from Colliers International and is utilizing his knowledge and experience to provide planning and implementation of real estate services for corporations and real estate ownership in Metropolitan Detroit and Michigan. Jim attended John Carroll University earning a Bachelor's Degree. He is a member of the Detroit Area Commercial Board of Realtors, Michigan Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and a member of TCN Worldwide (The Commercial Network). A partial list of clients and corporations served include Wiltel Corporation, Compaq Computer, Informix, Lucent Technologies, Avaya Communications, CGU, Nestle USA, General Motors, Ameritech Publishing, UNSA and Ikon.
