Originally from Illinois, I came to Missouri as a college student in 1978, attending Central Methodist College in Fayette. Majoring in Music Education, I completed 10 wonderful years as the Vocal Music director for the Maries R-II School district until accepting a position with the Missouri State Teachers Association. I served MSTA for over 16 years as a Field Service coordinator, assisting members in many aspects of employment, community and professional involvement. In that position, I was also responsible for contract negotiations and fulfillment of conference and member needs in meetings from 12 to 3,000 people, in communities from Missouri’s smallest rural towns to major metropolitan cities. These experiences combined have allowed me to develop my own style of contract negotiations to help my clients achieve their unique goals.
