John Bencivenga joined Avison Young in 2022 as an Associate in the Tampa, Florida office where he will be focusing on office and industrial leasing. Prior to joining Avison, he worked at the Avocat Group specializing in tenant representation for office and industrial users. While working with the Avocat Group, John assisted with over 250,000 SF of office and industrial leases as well as a handful of sales. John also assisted the Avocat Group with the development of an off-market branch which services clients in finding property that is not listed on standard commercial real estate sites. John interned with several Tampa Bay commercial real estate firms including Avesta, Harrod Properties and Redstone Investments.
John graduated from Florida State University where he earned a double major in Real Estate and Finance. At FSU, John played on the lacrosse team, was active in the FSU Real Estate Society, and studied abroad in Florence, Italy.
John is a Florida-licensed real estate sales associate and is actively pursuing his CCIM designation. John is involved in the community and spends his free time working with the Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay and assisting the Cristo Rey Salesian High School.
