His team focuses on working with local and national clients to establish real estate programs, including the acquisition, disposition and leasing of industrial/office facilities and vacant land. Since its inception, John and his partners have grown Lee & Associates to a 40+ person, full service real estate firm.
John previously worked at Grubb & Ellis Company for 6 years as a transaction services professional within the firm's Industrial Services Group. During his tenure at Grubb & Ellis, John established a strong track record for success in representing the interest of tenants and landlords in Chicago as well as on a national basis.
John has been involved in transactions valued in excess of $585,000,000. As a result of his efforts, he was awarded the Grubb & Ellis "Rookie of the Year" award in 1997 and was a finalist for the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers' Frank Mahoney Award of Excellence in 2000.
While focusing on representing the interests of tenants in the marketplace, John has assisted a number of clients in establishing their real estate and related business decision-making processes.
