John Fisher is an Executive Vice President in the Calgary office of CBRE. John specializes in informed and strategic real estate advice to companies both large and small while harnessing the complete offering of CBRE's Global Platform. John's clients range from fast-growing technology companies and public sector organizations to large corporate occupiers with diverse, North American-wide portfolios. John provides full-spectrum real estate Advisory and Transaction Services, including Tenant Representation, Lease Negotiations, Portfolio Management, Location Analysis, Use Analysis, M&A Advisory, Long-Term Strategic Planning, and National/International Real Estate Strategy.
CBRE Canada has consistently recognized John's work as he was named a Top 10 Occupier Advisor in 2018, 2020, and 2021 and has been a perennial Top 45 Sales Professional amongst CBRE Canada's 2,800 employees.
In addition to his work at CBRE, John is the former President of the Calgary Real Estate Association, NAIOP Calgary Chapter, is the Academic Director of the Real Estate Development Institute and is an instructor of Commercial Real Estate Development and Real Estate Investment and Analysis at the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. John is an advisor to Calgary Economic Development, the Westman Centre for Real Estate Studies, the City of Calgary, amongst other public sector and private sector organizations.
John has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Calgary and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Kellogg School of Business & Schulich School of Business at Northwestern and York University.
