John serves as vice president of Construction in the firm’s Houston development group, where he is responsible for the construction of healthcare, commercial office, multi-family, and retail development projects. He provides full-service construction management services for build-to-suit clients and oversees the design and construction of our principal development projects. Recent responsibilities include Texas Children’s Hospital’s West Campus, a 500,000-sq ft pediatric healthcare campus; and Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands, a 550,000-sq ft pediatric healthcare campus Overwatch Systems, a 165,000-sq ft corporate office build-to-suit; The Data Foundry Texas 1, a 125,000-sq ft Tier 3 co-location data center; The Arnold, a mixed-use complex with 346 residential units and 105,000 sq ft of commercial space. Prior to joining Transwestern, John spent 11 years at St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System in Houston where he was responsible for the development, management and leasing of numerous real estate assets for the institution. This included the St. Luke’s Community Medical Center The Woodlands, a 90-bed community hospital, the 6620 Main Building, a 220,000 sq ft medical office building, as well as St. Luke’s Medical Arts Building 1 & 11, which included 90,000 sq ft and 100,000 sq ft of medical office space. John’s experience also includes development and construction management roles for office and hotel projects in Texas and California.
