Bio
Mr. Layton joined Bow River in 2017. Mr. Layton is responsible for originating, structuring, and managing real estate investments within the firm’s active portfolios with experience sourcing and executing transactions in Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Dallas, Reno and Denver. In addition, he is involved in investment research, underwriting, due diligence, and financial modeling. Prior to joining Bow River, Mr. Layton was an Analyst in Ernst & Young’s M&A Real Estate group in Philadelphia focusing primarily on transaction-based valuations. He was involved in over $6.5 billion of commercial real estate valuations including an IPO of a Washington D.C. based REIT onto the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Layton held prior positions as a Development Analyst at Catalyst Commercial Development, and internships at PNC Bank’s Capital Markets Finance and Commercial Real Estate Banking groups.
Mr. Layton is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and holds a BS in Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate from The Pennsylvania State University.
