Bio
John Livingston Bullier is a real estate investment broker with St. Clair Properties specializing in single family flips and multifamily acquisitions and development. John’s real estate legacy begins in 1928 when his great-grandfather co-founded the commercial brokerage Bullier & Bullier in Portland, OR. He is a fourth-generation real estate broker and started working in multifamily portfolio management after high school. John attended the University of Oregon where he majored in Chinese and Business Administration and spent his Junior year in Shanghai, China enrolled in accelerated language courses. In 2014 he returned to the states and started working for St. Clair Properties, a boutique real estate investment and advisory firm, where he still works today. Since 2014 John has developed a niche investing and representing investors within the Willamette Valley and he has a proven history in the Portland and Eugene submarkets. John sources, underwrites, and manages quality value-add and opportunistic property deals for his clients. His experience in due diligence and project management consistently uncovers new value, mitigates risk, and generates above market returns on investment. John currently lives near Forest Park in NW Portland and enjoys trail running, white water rafting, mountain biking, working on projects around the house and spending time with friends and family. “My favorite part of real estate is the physical aspect. Every experience occurs in a physical setting, and settings are often a critical component of the experiences themselves. Take for example, a dinner party with friends in a warm, inviting living room next to a fire. The setting helps make the experience. I like real estate because it gives me a role in shaping the way physical world.”
