John Mifflin is the preferred broker for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. He was selected for this position in 2000 and has worked with 18 different real estate managers in the development of all new store formats in Middle and East Tennessee. Responsibilities included: ongoing understanding of all markets, evaluation of every potential and alternate site, market presentation and recommendation to Wal-Mart’s executive team, coordination with Wal-Mart architects, engineers, and legal team on plans and cost estimates, contract negotiations, and coordination of entitlement efforts through closing and until store delivery to operations.
John is also the preferred broker for Brinker International (Chili’s Grill and Bar). As Brinker International’s preferred broker, he is responsible for assisting the corporate real estate manager in new store development for Tennessee and Kentucky.
