Bio
John Scoblick joined Savills in 2015, and has been a commercial real estate advisor and business executive for over a quarter-century. His extensive experience with high-value, complex transaction negotiations is a testimony to John’s reliability and commitment to providing excellent service to his clients. Having held executive positions for both start-up companies and Fortune 100 corporations, John has a balanced approach with a wealth of knowledge. He’s worked at the top level in multiple industries, including corporate real estate, finance, energy services, and venture capital, allowing him to give credible insight from the many aspects of real estate decision-making. In all, John has strategically executed over $750 million in solution sales for all industries, including an international real estate portfolio totaling more than $325 million. This includes a massive lease financing of a 1.2 million square foot headquarters, 300,000 square foot office lease, rollout of a national broadband network, and acquisition and disposition of numerous international real estate assets. In 2017, John was named a “Heavy Hitter” by the Austin Business Journal, and one year prior, his team’s work – for a 104,000 square foot project – was nominated for the 2016 Office Transaction of the Year. He was also a member of the top-ranked sales team in the country by Sales and Marketing Management Magazine. John is the founding president and board member of CoreNet Global’s Central Texas Chapter, which brings corporate real estate professionals together. He also was Vice Chairman for the CBMC Houston Annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast and on the advisory board of the Economic Development Committee of the Houston Downtown District. In his free time, John participates in a breast cancer philanthropy.
