Bio
John Stubbs began his career in the Raleigh-Durham area with Tri-Properties while attending Duke University. Six months after graduation, John founded Davis Moore Advisors (“DMA”), focusing on tenant representation for corporate clients. In 2000, John partnered with Austin Koon and built the Triangle’s leading tenant representation firm. John moved to Charlotte in 2005 to expand the footprint, ultimately becoming a managing director with Jones Lang LaSalle “JLL” after the targeted acquisition of the company John and Austin built by Jones Lang LaSalle in October 2007.
In 2011, John founded Davis Moore Capital to continue to work with corporate and healthcare clients. John’s extensive healthcare real estate experience has led to the creation of a Davis Moore’s Healthcare Development group that focuses solely on the development of medical office buildings. John currently oversees the development of over 200,000 square feet of medical office developments across North Carolina.
Over the past fifteen years, John has been one of the highest producing real estate professionals in North Carolina. Throughout this career, John has negotiated over 500 real estate transactions with an aggregate value of over $2 billion. John holds a degree in Economics from Duke University. John is currently the board chair of the Urban Ministry Center and has served on many boards throughout the community previously. He currently resides in Charlotte with his wife Erin, a faculty pediatrician at Carolinas Healthcare System, and children Charlie, Teddy, Henry, and Caroline.
