Bio
Jon, a born and raised Austinite, grew up in a real estate household. At the age of 14, after accepting the fact he would not be playing in the NBA, he knew his future was a career in real estate.
While attending Southern Methodist University, he interned under Rodger Anderson in UCR’s Austin office.
Upon graduating SMU in 2006, Jon joined the UCR Dallas office working alongside Jean Smith and Karla Smith, assisting on multiple accounts, such as Target and Sprouts.
In 2010, he returned to home to re-join the UCR Austin office. Since then, he has focused on fashioning and executing growth strategies for his retail and restaurant clients, such as 7-Eleven, Total Wine, T-Mobile, Barcelona Wine Bar, The Ginger Man and others.
Jon is active in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and being on Lake Austin.
