Jonathan Brateman served Southfield for 8 years as a Zoning Board of Appeals Member and as a Councilman. He was Novi Businessman of the Year in 1998. He also served on the Board of the Novi Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors, working as Chamber's Legislative Affairs Chairperson for three years.
