Bio
Following graduation from the University of Sheffield and then Cass Business School, Jonathan joined the Valuation Department at Colliers where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2005. He then moved to join the Retail Investment Team at Churston Heard and then JLL, where he was promoted to Director, before joining Fawcett Mead in 2012 as an Equity Partner. With over 15 years’ experience of acquiring and selling a wide range of high street, shopping centre, foodstore and portfolio assets, Jonathan has been involved with some of the most high profile investment transactions within the UK retail investment market in recent years. These have included the acquisition of ShopStop in Clapham Junction for circa £140m, the acquisition of the super prime Magna Portfolio for circa £45m and the sale and acquisition of a number of super prime high street and foodstore assets in locations including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Brighton, Cambridge, Guildford, Kingston, Islington, Richmond and Clapham Junction. In doing so, Jonathan has forged close relationships with a wide range of institutional and property company clients, including Aberdeen Standard, BMO Real Estate, Columbia Threadneedle, CBREGI, DTZI, Legal & General, Lasalle Investment Management, M&G, Redevco, London Metric, Nuveen, U+I and Wittington.
