In August 2017, Jordan Karp accepted the position as Executive Vice President and Head of Canadian Retail Services.
A more than 30-year veteran of the trade, Jordan is considered an industry leader and expert in retail and hospitality leasing, as well as the sale of urban street-front retail and mixed-use developments. Over the course of his extensive career, he has represented institutional landlords, developers, investors, retailers, medical and office users, both one offs and multinationals. He has completed numerous lease transactions and consulting work throughout the Greater Toronto Area and Canada, as well as other major urban and suburban markets throughout North America.
Jordan’s expert abilities extend into countries and continents all over the world, leading to the first Toronto stores for Christian Louboutin, Gucci and Nespresso. Jordan and his team’s successful cross-border approach, coupled with Savills global reach has allowed for an even greater scope and opportunity with international retailers landlords and investors alike. Jordan’s market leading and creative approach to the real estate market has allowed him to create value for his clients and revolutionize the Canadian market from companies across the country and the globe.
Previously, Jordan was senior vice president of retail advisory services at Paracom Realty Corporation, a respected boutique commercial real estate brokerage in Toronto. Prior to that, Jordan was the Vice President of Retail Advisory Services at Avison Young.
