Bio
Jorge has a 20 year background in real estate investment and development. He built more than 5,000 units and 3B dollars, including residential condominiums, master planned communities, beach resorts, hotels and mixed use projects. He teamed up with world renowned architects, as Richard Meier, IM Pei, Carlos Ott, among others, to create the most exciting projects in Miami and Central America. A former head of Development with Fortune International, he was responsible for many of the buildings that stand out as landmarks in the skyline including the Jade series. Born in Argentina he holds both an MBA and an Architecture and Urban Planning degree from the University of Buenos Aires. A member of the Urban Land Institute since 1994 he has participated in numerous industry related events as keynote speaker. Father of three children, he is involved in several philanthropic activities being an active supporter of the CIFO foundation for the Arts, the Fundación RAP an apolitical institution for the improvement of the political leadership in Argentina, and member of the board with the Miami Symphony Orchestra.
