Mr. Dunn has been involved in commercial real estate in Jefferson County and the Denver, Colorado area since 1978, including leasing, sales, and consulting on industrial, office, retail, and land properties.
Major sales transactions have included the 70 acre TOSCO Oil Shale Research Facility as well as the 88 acre Foothills Business Park (which became the home to Jefferson County government offices), the 100,000 SF Sixth Avenue Place office-flex project, the 56,450 SF Green Mountain Business Center office-flex project (sold twice) as well as a number of commercial properties ranging from 4317 SF offices through a 68,000 SF industrial manufacturing plant in Wheat Ridge. He represented the Sellers in the 28 acre Overlook Business Park sale, and the 29 acre Ward Road parcel sold to Jefferson County Open Space and Arvada Covenant Church. Since 1988 he has been the land marketing agent for Corporate Center, a 70 acre business park located at the western junction of I-70 and C-470 in Golden, CO.
Mr. Dunn has worked to position or reposition a number of properties, including the Foothills Lighting Building at 195 S. Union Blvd. where he provided the concept to convert an antiquated retail warehouse into a multi-tenant office and retail property with expanded parking, and succeeded in finding a developer to embrace the concept and purchase the property.
He has served as a consultant on a number of real estate situations involving adverse government-initiated rezonings as well as helping to structure real estate transactions to minimize tax impacts.
Dunn holds the CCIM designation from the National Association of Realtors.
